Oceanvolt secures 1,5 million euro financing
Oceanvolt has finished its 1,5 million euro round of financing successfully. The total sum consists of 1,3 million euros of private money together with Aloitusrahasto Veras investment. Vera is is managed by Veraventure.
"The financing makes it possible for us to quickly expand to the US and South-Europe. Electric propulsion or motor systems are only now becoming common in sailing boats, so we have an excellent opportunity to become the leading provider in the market. Our goal is to become a standard propulsion option in sailboats and catamarans" , says the CEO of Oceanvolt Timo Jaakkola.
Oceanvolts electric motor systems create energy while sailing. The environmentally friendly electric motor systems can be installed in both new and old sailboats and catamarans. The Oceanvolt systems are already a standard option in ten different boat models. Oceanvolt will from now on focus on strengthening its international sales and marketing.
