"In very light wind conditions, being able to quietly and silently (and without any fumes) motor-""sail"" to your destination, is certainly one of the best advantages of having an electric boat.
Huge battery capacity is one of the secondary benefits, allowing us to be at anchor for days, with full comfort (hot water, AC, induction cooking appliances, TV, sat, etc) without the need to annoy the whole bay running a generator!" – Owner of the FP Astrea 42 "Angelina"
