Oceanvolt is an industry leader in marine electric propulsion. As interest in electric propulsion grows, we need help responding to initial inquiries and informing customers about our products and electric propulsion.

Oceanvolt USA needs sales support in the US market. The primary role will be to respond to questions and help potential customers understand the products and provide quotations. There will be some secondary tasks related to sales and service as well. It is a remote position with some anticipated travel mostly to help with boat shows but also occasionally you might visit a vessel or help with a remote service call when the technicians need someone on the ground. Compensation will be determined based on experience, but this is a fairly flexible position starting at 20 hours in a standard week with some special events adding on more time occasionally.

This is an entry level position and we will provide training on our products and the supporting systems. The candidate should feel comfortable reading technical datasheets and feel confident that with some technical training they would be able to understand all the basics of electric propulsion.

Our ideal candidate has some knowledge about the recreational boat industry and experience in sailing. This position will grow with the company and we are looking for someone passionate about electric propulsion with a curious mind to learn more. This is an emerging market and as such this is also a dynamic position that can be expected to change with the needs as the market grows and matures. This is not a commissioned sales position and will start with around 20 hours of work most weeks with some longer commitments sometimes for boat shows and other potential sales related travel.
