VAAN R5

VAAN R5

“We enjoy working with Oceanvolt because they are also at the forefront of the transition to emissions free sailing. Like us, most of the people there are sailors too, so it really feels like they are part of our team and vice-versa.” – Igor Kluin, CEO of Vaan Yachts

In the spirit of Vaan's R4, Dutch-based builder Vaan Yachts are offering a new 49-foot catamaran. With construction still in recycled aluminum, this model is built using a maximum of recyclable materials that have sometimes already been recycled themselves, and/or are biosourced. Propulsion is provided by electric motors from Oceanvolt.
