Hiring: Production Lead
Oceanvolt is looking for a Production Lead to join our team in Helsinki!
As a Production Lead you will manage the production and report directly to the CEO. As a member of the management team, the Production Lead shall, together with the other managers take part in the strategy implementation and the development of the processes to ensure long-term sustainability of the business model. You will be responsible for the production activities including assembly of electric propulsion systems for boats and lead the production and purchasing team.
Key responsibilities
- Planning the production capacity and scaling the production and process development to improve the production cost efficiency
- Production scheduling to meet the customer sales order deadlines
- Creating and updating long term production forecast with sales team
- Preparing the annual production budget and ensuring production cost effectiveness, schedule and quality standards
- Overall responsibility of the production facilities and working safety
- Management of the production, including service related production
- Selection and maintenance of equipment/tooling
- Developing and implementing quality management system to production
- Supervising and motivating the team of workers and ensuring sufficient resources in production activities
- Reviewing worker performance, identifying training needs
- Supporting R&D from production in new developments and customer support team in case necessary
Your background
- Strong experience within production function in a similar industry
- Preferably M.Sc or B.Sc education in engineering
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
