Oceanvolt appoints Norwegian distributor
Henrik Torgersen through his company BES A/S will represent Oceanvolt’s electric propulsion systems in Norway.
Finnish electric propulsion manufacturer Oceanvolt has chosen Henrik Torgersen as its new distributor in Norway. Henrik Torgersen has taken a leading role in promoting electric propulsion for pleasure boats in Norway. Henrik Torgersen also represents the Swedish manufacturer Arcona Yachts ab in Norway and runs his operations through the company BES A/S.
Oceanvolt makes electric propulsion systems for new boats as well as for retrofit. The company, which is based in Helsinki, was founded by Janne Kjellman in 2004.
“The appointment of Henrik Torgersen is another very important step in the process of developing Oceanvolt’s distribution infrastructure throughout Europe,” says Christian Hallberg, commercial director of Oceanvolt. “Norway is a leading nation world-wide in electric cars and offers an excellent position to extend electric propulsion also to pleasure boats.
